Got along to the well-designed The Brits Who Built The Modern World at the RIBA, Portland Place over the weekend. Great display of original drawings, sketches and scale models showing the global success of a handful of British architects covering 1950 to today, worth a visit. On until 27 May.

Frank Dobson’s 1951 ‘London Pride’ sculpture sited on the Southbank by the National Theatre. The larger-than-life bare breasted ladies are a reminder of the Festival of Britain which took place on the site over 50years ago. Really like this storage container from the Design Museum Shop. Designed by Barber Osgerby, the Lunar light blue lidded container is from a range of simple and unpretentious storage jars. I’m using mine for sugar, perfect.

And here’s the wine and drinks menu for Terranova Italian. A4 single side over six pages using their new brand to good effect. GDA also edited the content with the client and simplified some of the descriptions which were just too wordy!
