Frank Dobson’s 1951 London Pride’ sculpture sited on the Southbank by the National Theatre. The larger-than-life bare breasted ladies are a reminder of the Festival of Britain which took place on the site over 50years ago. The figures currently has a temporary teal painted hoarding behind as work goes on at the National Theatre. So good to see contemporary sculpture on a large scale on public display, which is becoming rare often due to Local Authority not wanting to accept liability, shame.
