Fresh start to 2015 after a healthy break from the studio and checking out current trends and fashions. Really liked this retail display at Melissa Shoes Covent Garden store. Well-designed cluster of wire suspended acrylic showcases with 'floating' shoe display and LED panel lighting, nice.... Happy New year!

LED exterior lighting…

GDA have designed the exterior lighting and specified the excellent Concord Sterling LED Bulkhead lighting to a large residential development. We chose the silver finish and the 3000K warm white colour temperature. The fittings are replacements for old plastic housing bulkheads with 2D lamps. The long term benefits of Sterling LED are maintenance-free, extra vandal resistance and significant energy savings.

Lighting up the Old Palace

GDA designed the modern lighting scheme at The Old Palace, Hatfield House, one of England's most historic country houses. Our challenge was to update the lighting without being intrusive. We specified contemporary hand-blown glass pendants, direct/indirect wall lights and LED strip around the eaves and window ledges to highlight architectural details.
