On 1 June 1985, Andrew Gardiner set up Gardiner Design Associates. The practice designed exhibitions, conferences, and events and project managed the build at venues across the UK and Europe. By the late 1990s, the role of the exhibition designer was being challenged by marketing and advertising agencies, who until then had not seen events as financially viable, and stand contractors offering seemingly free stand design. Andrew saw these changes coming and successfully diversified the practice, designing brands, commercial interiors, graphics, signage, and print services. Today, we work with clients across estate and property management, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, hospitality, visitor attractions, and financial services.
