Built in 1485, the Old Palace at Hatfield House is one of England’s most historic buildings. Working with the estate property team, GDA designed a new lighting scheme using modern technology to enhance its Grand One listed features.

The result is sympathetic to the building without being intrusive, using architectural energy-saving luminaires comprising hand-blown crystal glass pendants and up lights to feature the gargoyles, eaves and window ledges.

The venue stages conferences, events and gatherings, weddings, celebrations and filming. On completion, we directed the photoshoot.
