The relocation of ITV Meridian’s television news studios from Southampton to a new £6.5m digital centre at Whiteley presented several challenges.

Working in close collaboration with ITV teams, our design reconfigured the internal spaces to create a modern, light-filled reception, an open-plan newsroom and a range of flexible breakout areas. The scheme incorporates energy-efficient lighting, high-quality contract furniture, large-format graphics and a refined colour palette.

A café-style breakout space adjoining an outdoor terrace provides an ideal setting for colleagues to focus, socialise and collaborate away from the pace of the newsroom.
