The main aim of a brief is to help the designer understand what it is you want. A good design brief helps all stakeholders understand the expectation and outcome, and provides the point of reference to go back to for clarity. We produced our ‘Briefing a designer‘ document for guidance. The better the brief, the better the outcome.
