Even the smallest project gets our full attention. We were recently asked to produce new lettering for a newly repainted timber nameplate at York Cottage. The original nameplate featured an Olde English typeface, but rather than simply replicate the existing lettering, we recommended a more considered approach.
We created a new layout using Palatino, an old-style serif typeface known for its excellent legibility and beautifully balanced proportions. The result is a sympathetic sign to the character of the property while giving the nameplate a fresh, refined appearance. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a difference.
