Gifted two wonderful books both from the London Transport Museum shop at Covent Garden. A Logo For London by David Lawrence writes about the origin and development of the London Transport bar and circle roundel, probably one of the best identities applied across commercial design. Letterforms by Timothy Samara covers ‘typeface design from past to future’, a must have for type designers and type lovers. Both books, which are hardback, are beautifully illustrated.
