ITV Meridian’s television news studios move from Southampton to their new £6.5m digital centre at Whiteley had its challenges.

Working closely with the teams at ITV, our design scheme reconfigured internal spaces with a modern bright reception area, open plan newsroom and flexible breakout spaces. We introduced energy-saving lighting, high-quality contract furniture, large format graphics and a stripped-back clean colour palette.

A cafe-style area, close to an outdoor terrace and kitchenette, works well for colleagues to focus, socialise and collaborate away from the newsroom.
